Client Overview

Founded in 1988 as the first private university in the GCC, Ajman University is recognized among the region's leading universities, known for academic excellence, research, innovation, and community impact.

As part of its digital transformation strategy, the university sought to modernize the management of its growing digital collections and institutional knowledge assets.

02

The Challenge

As digital content expanded across the university, managing, preserving, and accessing institutional assets became increasingly complex.

Ajman University required a centralized repository that could:

Preserve & protect digital assets Improve discoverability & accessibility Strengthen governance & security Standardize content management Support long-term scalability
The objective was not simply to archive content, but to transform digital assets into accessible institutional knowledge.
03

The Solution

Naseej introduced Medad Digital Assets Repository (DAR), a cloud-based digital knowledge platform that enables institutions to preserve, govern, and provide seamless access to digital assets through a secure and scalable environment.

The project included:

Repository deployment & configuration
Digital content migration & organization
Metadata standardization
Workflow automation
Integration with institutional systems
Analytics & reporting

This created a unified digital knowledge environment that improved content management, accessibility, and governance.

04

Key Outcomes

Unified Access to Knowledge

Digital collections were consolidated into a single repository, making content easier to discover, access, and manage across the university.

Stronger Governance and Security

Role-based access controls, content protection mechanisms, and standardized workflows improved governance and ensured the secure management of institutional assets.

Scalable Digital Infrastructure

Built on interoperable standards, the platform supports future growth, seamless integration, and long-term digital preservation.

05

Results

The repository has evolved into an active institutional knowledge resource, enabling broader access to digital content while supporting long-term preservation, governance, and knowledge management objectives.

Strategic Impact

Turning Visions into Reality

Through the implementation of Medad DAR, Ajman University established a scalable foundation for knowledge governance and digital preservation. The initiative transformed institutional content from isolated digital assets into a connected knowledge ecosystem — ensuring that valuable academic and institutional resources remain discoverable, accessible, and sustainable for future generations.

One Repository. Governed Knowledge. Lasting Impact.
